"Blackie, blackie, blackie", those words were said numerous times in my teenage years. Girl you're too dark to be a fashion model, think of another career. That stuck with me for many years. Do you know words become thoughts? Let no one speak doubt and unbelief into your life. Growing up as a teenager in the south was rough for a dark skin girl like me. I was glad to get out of that town and move to the city. Coming to the city was a blessing, so I thought but I still faced the same challenges. Loving my skin tone was tough because people kept saying dark skin girls were not attractive. I soon discovered, That's a lie baby! that's a Lie!! One day I ran into a childhood friend. He looked at me and said "WOW growing up I was chasing the wrong girls, you look beautiful." Then, he had the nerves to ask me to go on a date. He was a day late and a dollar short LOL!! Thank You! But no thank you I replied. Listen CHOCOLATE sisters, let no one beat you down because of your complexion. God made you perfect. Ask God to give you confidence and boldness. Once I realized who I was, things changed. Put a smile on that gorgeous face and walk in your authority. You can do all things though Christ who strength you. Beauty start within. Dark Skin Girls Need Love Too
THE OPEN DOOR
After the passing of my best friend and the divorce, I decided to return to school. What a challenge that was but God was with me. The instructor lacked professionalism and one day I over heard him saying ugly things about me to the students. I was in shock and disappointed!!!! God what is this? After I over heard the conversation, I decide to drop out of school but I did not. I stay until the end of my schooling. God had a plan for me being there; I was planted there for purpose. To plant seeds for God in some of the students souls. Someone needed encouragement and that word lead to that person giving their life to God. While I was in school God use me to make a different in some of the students life in spite of all the negativity.
Do not run away from challenges or difficult situations!! God will use you when things look ugly. Let people talk, while God is blessing you. God will open doors no man can shut. Believe That!!!!
I decree and declare that no weapon form against you shall prosper. Soul will be delivered when you speak. In the mighty name of Jesus!

HOW LONG GOD HOW LONG
The job interview was at 10 am. I was so exhausted and hungry. There was a few people before me waiting to be interviewed. I heard a voice from across the room, "I know you from YouTube". Then another young lady said "I know you from YouTube". Wow! What a small world. I'm famous on social media and was unaware. A few minutes later my name was called. Lois, was so excited about me sharing my knowledge on the worldwide web. She kept asking me questions about how I built my social media platform. At the end of the interview, Lois asked me to take a drug test of course I agreed. Now catch this...After being up all night hungry and tired, I did not realize Lois hired me on the spot. Look at GOD! This was just the beginning.
The company was so impressed with my work ethic, they offer me a promotion within 8 weeks. Look at GOD!!! God didn't just promote me once but twice with a double increase. Let me encourage you. When your back is up against the wall and you don't know what to do TRUST GOD! God promise us he will never leave us.

Getting Over An Abusive Relationship
Three months after the wedding hell broke loose. What happen when you're in love with an abusive person and can not move forward to love again. The abuse was so bad that Naomi wanted to take her life. How does one get past those dark days and nights? After the relationship was over Naomi stayed to herself 10 years no male contact afraid of getting hurt again. Jim drugs addiction and abuse shook Naomi life. Fear has a way of making one think history will repeat itself over and over again. Naomi wants to love again but she was afraid. It's been 11 years since Naomi left her ex husband. Naomi cling to Jesus so tight praying for a loving, kind and gracious man of God. Naomi got over her ex husband but was afraid to love and trust again.
God sent James a wonderful man into Naomi life. Everything was going great with them but one day Naomi went into panic mode and past hurts came back. OMG, what happen? Naomi cried out to God to deliver her from the past pain. She needed Jesus more now than ever. Naomi began thinking about all the abuse, lying and cheating her ex husband did to her. Her new man James did not understand what Naomi was dealing with so he ended the relationship.
How does one get over past hurt and pain? Trust God that your mate will not hurt you.
In the mighty name of Jesus I decree broken hearts are healed and trust is restored. Amen
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
